Honours even in promotion battle

Updated: Feb 28, 2020

Its a cold night at the Webbswood stadium as Swindon Supermarine fc hosts Hayes and Yeading, and what a dominant start to the game by the London side as both Marine and yeading battle this one out.

With some great play from both sides it was just a matter of time before the two sides clashed but with Hayes looking the better side at the start of the match breaking down Marines defences and earning them selves a early lead in the game.

As the pace picks up Marine looking to equalise and a few good runs down the wings by Ryan Campbell allows few chances into the box but soon fizzles out.

A great cross by Jamie edge give Henry Spalding the much needed equalizer that Marine needed, with the two teams not giving in, this giving Martin Horsell some much work to do who gallently kept the game to a level score earning himself in my opinion man of the match.

Alex Henshall and Calvin Dinsley bringing in some much needed fresh legs as substatution in the later half causing few problems for the away team but with a fast paced game of who wanted it more neither team was able to break the deadlock leaving the score 1-1

With both teams in the playoff position this could possible be another game on towards the end of the season!
